Delia is a sweet, shy woman. She has been the manager of Posada La Gaviota for nine years. She has worked with the owners of the posada for a long time, and one day they offered a position in Los Roques and she could not say "No!" As other posaderos she loves reading, cooking and going to the beach. She enjoys eating healthy and likes yogurts and salads. Besides that, she considers meeting people and learning from them the greatest experience in the world! Her host philosophy is to be kind, respectful, and responsible with guests. She is the right lady to ask for a particular recipe or to repeat one dish you couldn't get enough of at dinner.

Posada La Gaviota has a rainwater tank and energy-saving bulbs. In the same way, they help classifying the garbage in: glass, plastic and organic trash in order to help the urban trash collecting service. Additionally, Delia talks about taking care of the fauna and not accepting lobsters out of season and speaks to the guests about saving water and electricity as much as they can.
