Lucia is the living example that falling in love at first sight exists! In 1997, she came to Los Roques to spend a nice vacation, but when she got off the airplane she said "I won´t go back to Italy, I´ll stay and work here," and she did it! She has been the manager of Posada Paraíso Azul since that year. She has adopted new hobbies with open arms like snorkeling, reading, going to the beach, and cooking pasta, bread and fish.
Lucia shares her love of meeting new people with her staff and dog. Her female boxer, Kira, will steal your heart at the posada, you will have a new best friend. Lucia is happy to give you a smile while you are telling her your experiences each day of your stay. In addition, she can recommend the great terrace that Posada Paraíso Azul has to offer. It is very romantic and private, with comfortable beanbags and hammocks, surrounded by candles and the cool breeze of Los Roques.

Posada Paraíso Azul has installed energy-saving bulbs and requests guests use water and electricity as little as possible in an effort to minimize their environmental footprint. The staff classifies the garbage in glass, plastic and organic trash and talks to guests about not eating lobster out of season.
